Mission

We envision a strong and diverse network of cooperative housing throughout Kalamazoo that addresses the needs of low-income residents, supports the local community, and exemplifies sustainable living. Kalamazoo Collective Housing will take an active role in continually expanding cooperative housing opportunities in the city.

We provide nonprofit, sustainable housing; empower people to create democratic cooperatives; and strengthen our community through shared resources and education. We are a 501(c)3 social benefit organization.

Group Violence Intervention is a group made up of past perpetrators of gun violence who now work with people who are, or are at risk, to commit acts of gun violence.

Mission

Open Roads is a youth development program in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We provide job skill training, apprenticeships, bike repair services, and more to youth in the Kalamazoo community. Throughout the year we run a variety of programs designed to provide bikes and bike repair services to students for low or no-cost.
